OTTAWA and ERLANGEN, May 12, 2003 - QNX Software Systems, the industry leader in realtime, microkernel OS technology, and 3SOFT, a software specialist based in Erlangen, Germany, have reached an agreement to deliver software and services to customers in the automotive and medical instrumentation markets.
The object of the agreement is to forge a closer working relationship between the two companies and to provide 3SOFT engineers with intensive training in the QNX® Neutrino® RTOS and QNX Momentics® development suite. By combining QNX expertise with its extensive know-how in embedded development, 3SOFT can better respond to the growing demand for services based on QNX Neutrino.
QNX Neutrino is a leading operating system for applications where reliability and predictable response times are critical, such as those deployed in automotive systems and medical instrumentation. 3SOFT offers support and consulting services to customers in these industries who want to create highly advanced applications for a wide range of software platforms.
