Designed to attract high-caliber distributors in key geographic markets, the program provides distributors with simplified order processing, timely product delivery, and the ability to leverage a discount price structure. In related news, QNX Software Systems also announced today that ATS International B.V., an independent solutions provider for industrial, process, and office automation, is the first distributor to join the QNX Solutions Network. (See the accompanying press release, "QNX Strikes Distribution Alliance with Global Reseller.")

"In markets such as Asia, Europe, South America, and the Middle East, we are witnessing increased demand as more and more development teams turn to QNX for its legacy of reliability, innovation, and service," said Kimm Krueger, director, Indirect Channels, QNX Software Systems. "The QNX Solutions Network is key to ensuring that QNX continues to meet the requirements for new applications in the networking, military, telematics, medical, and industrial automation verticals."

With the QNX Solutions Network, QNX Software Systems has created a structure for attracting and retaining top-tier distribution partners and has taken care to define market territories, to limit saturation, and to safeguard distributor margins. QNX indirect account representatives will help distributors to develop their markets for QNX technology-based embedded solutions and to provide quality service that scales to meet even the most demanding customers. All QNX distributors have access to sales and marketing tools, ongoing communication, training, and certification.

QNX Software Systems offers two levels of participation in the QNX Solutions Network: Charter and Premier. Charter distributors have access to select QNX products, services, and support plans. Premier distributors have access to all QNX products, market development programs, executive briefings, and dedicated engineering support. Premier distributors also have the opportunity to qualify as approved QNX training centers.

QNX distributors will provide technology expertise and service to customers in vertical markets such as networking, telematics, medical, military, and industrial automation. For more information about the QNX Solutions Network, please email distribution@qnx.com.
