Birdstep Technology Announces Release of RDM Mobile 3.0 Support for QNX Neutrino RTOS

RDM Mobile 3.0 offers QNX developers the full functionality and flexibility needed for mobile applications.

SEATTLE/OSLO, April 19, 2004 - Today, Birdstep Technology (OSE: BIRD) announced the release of Birdstep RDM Mobile 3.0, a full featured, small footprint database ideally suited for mobile computing systems. With its data integrity, multi-user support, zero-administration, and support for the QNX® Neutrino® RTOS, RDM Mobile 3.0 offers the functionality and flexibility needed to meet the growing demands of mobile applications.

Mobile computing devices, including telematics, electronic notebooks, smart-phones, and aerospace systems, require a high-performance database, but have limited resources. RDM Mobile 3.0 has been streamlined to minimize size and costs, while maintaining superior reliability, speed, and transparency.

"RDM Mobile 3.0 is optimized for mobile computing applications. It is a small (less than 225k footprint), high-performance database that provides solutions mobile software developers require for data management. We support the QNX Neutrino RTOS because of its popularity in the mobile device market, particularly in automotive telematics," said Tom Clark, Birdstep Technology, Inc. CEO.
