Aisin AW Co., Ltd.
Aisin AW, a leading supplier of navigation systems and software solutions for the worldwide automotive market, is integrating its navigation engine with the QNX CAR Platform for Infotainment. QNX Software Systems will demonstrate this integration in its booth at CES.
QNX Software Systems will demonstrate Elektrobits 3D navigation solution, EB street director, in the QNX technology concept car based on a Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG. In addition, Elektrobit will demonstrate a new concept urban electric vehicle called Véhicule Urbain Electrique (VUE) that has a full instrument cluster and infotainment system based on the QNX® Neutrino® Realtime Operating System and developed with the EB GUIDE 5.5 HMI platform. Kotei Informatics, a leading Japanese provider of software development services and navigation solutions for companies like Nissan Motors, Hitachi Group, Toshiba Group, Clarion, Denso, and Edia, is integrating its navigation engine with the QNX CAR Platform for Infotainment. QNX Software Systems will demonstrate the solution in the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG.
HERE, a Nokia business
The HERE Auto embedded navigation solution connects to the HERE Cloud to provide the driver with access to connected services, including weather, parking availability, traffic, fuel price and payment services, and more. QNX Software Systems is integrating HERE Auto with the QNX CAR Platform for Infotainment and will demonstrate the solution in the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG.
Digital Instrument Clusters
HI Corporation HI Corporation, a provider of comprehensive HMI solutions for embedded devices, is optimizing its HMI tools and runtime software for the QNX CAR Platform for Infotainment. QNX Software Systems will showcase this new partnership in a digital instrument cluster that can seamlessly integrate with a cars navigation system to display turn-by-turn directions.
Gracenote, the global leader in music technology and metadata, will showcase the ability to personalize the in-vehicle music experience using the QNX® Neutrino® Realtime Operating System. Demonstrations will take place in the Gracenote Lounge at the Cosmopolitan (fourth floor, Nolita Room 1).
Freescale will showcase the QNX CAR Platform for Infotainment, as well as the QNX® Neutrino® Realtime Operating System with Elektrobit EB GUIDE for Instrument Clusters, on Freescales i.MX 6 Applications Processors for Automotive in suites at the Palazzo hotel. Freescales scalable family of i.MX 6 processors is designed to enable consumer electronics user experiences and advanced device connectivity in the automotive environment.
NVIDIA, the leading visual computing company, will demonstrate Audi's newest infotainment system featuring the NVIDIA® Tegra® processor and the QNX Neutrino Realtime Operating System in the LVCC, South Hall 3, Booth 30207.
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.
QNX Software Systems will demonstrate the first implementation of Snapdragon Automotive Solutions for infotainment systems in the QNX reference vehicle, where it is powering several applications running on the QNX CAR Platform for Infotainment. Qualcomm will also demonstrate the QNX CAR Platform in its booth, LVCC Central Hall, Booth 8252.
Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI)
QNX Software Systems will demonstrate the QNX CAR Platform for Infotainment on a high-performance, low-power TI processor in the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG. QNX Software Systems will demonstrate RealVNCs MirrorLink implementation in the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG, where it supports mobile-to-vehicle integration over USB. With RealVNCs MirrorLink Certified VNC Automotive SDK integrated in the QNX CAR Platform, automotive developers can implement smartphone connectivity over USB, Bluetooth®, and Wi-Fi®.
QNX Software Systems will showcase the power of Nuance voice recognition technology in the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG. Nuance voice recognition technology helps drivers stay focused on the road while making eyes-free, hands-free calls or interacting with the cars infotainment system simply by using their voice.
Red Bend Software
Red Bend, a firmware over-the-air (FOTA) provider, will showcase a virtualization demo that runs the QNX CAR Platform for Infotainment and a Crank Software-based digital instrument cluster on dual displays driven by a single TI Jacinto 6 processor.
