OTTAWA, CANADA, May 5, 2003 - As part of its new indirect channel program, the QNX Solutions Network, QNX Software Systems has appointed Leipzig-based BitCtrl Systems GmbH as the first QNX distributor for Germany, Austria, and German Switzerland.

BitCtrl has been developing QNX-based products for over 12 years and has in-depth knowledge of the QNX® Neutrino® realtime operating system. "The signing of the contract means that we now also distribute the QNX Momentics® development suite - the latest addition to our QNX software portfolio."

The QNX Solutions Network provides distributors with simplified order processing, timely product delivery, and the ability to leverage discount price structures. Distributors belonging to the network serve developers in the telecommunications, automotive, telematics, medical, military, point of sale (POS), and industrial automation markets.

To attract and retain top-tier distributors, the QNX Solutions Network offers carefully defined market territories that safeguard distributor margins. Members of the network can also take advantage sales and marketing tools, training, and certification.
