QNX Adds Asian Distributors to Its Solutions Network; Extends Sales Channel to Taiwan and South Korea

OTTAWA, March 18, 2003 - Continuing its global channel expansion, QNX Software Systems has added three new distributors to its QNX® Solutions Network to extend its presence in the Pacific Rim. Starting immediately, Paralink Networks in Taiwan and RT Solutions and EON Technology, both of South Korea, will sell QNX software and services to embedded system developers, leveraging the simplified order processing, streamlined product delivery, and discounted price structures available to members of QNX's recently launched distributor program.

"The Pacific Rim has evolved into a major center for technology innovation and manufacturing, generating a massive increase in the demand for highly reliable embedded RTOSs, such as QNX Neutrino," said Kimm Krueger, director, Indirect Channels, QNX Software Systems. "QNX is thrilled that Paralink Networks, RT Solutions, and EON Technology will be our emissaries in this critical region - providing embedded systems developers with an RTOS that will enable faster development cycles, reliable execution, and interoperability with legacy systems."
