Leapmotor Unleashes the B10: A Game-Changing Electric SUV Powered by QNX Innovation

Leapmotor is once again turning heads in the EV world. After their groundbreaking collaboration on the C11, the automaker has rejoined forces with QNX to power its brand-new B10—a first-generation, mid-size electric SUV engineered for success. Ready to hit markets in China and across EMEA, the B10 promises to redefine innovation, performance, and style in the electric vehicle arena.

Powered by the reliable QNX OS and QNX Hypervisor, the B10 combines design flexibility and scalability. The QNX Hypervisor allows for multiple systems with mixed criticality and different operating system environments to be consolidated onto a single hardware platform, helping to reduce both the initial development and long-term costs of ownership while enabling industry-leading safety and security.

Leapmotor Leap 3.5 Hardware and Software Stack

Built on Leapmotor’s in-house developed LEAP3.5 architecture, the B10 integrates advanced software and hardware in intelligent electric vehicles. It contains a diverse suite of QNX® technology, including the QNX® Neutrino® Realtime Operating System (RTOS), QNX® Software Development Platform (SDP 7.1), QNX® Hypervisor, and QNX® OS for Safety certified to TUV Rhein ISO26262 ASIL D, underpinning the vehicle’s cutting-edge, intelligent digital cockpit and L2+ autonomous driving domain controllers.

On the hardware side, the Leapmotor B10 is powered by an intelligent driving solution that combines best-in-class LiDAR with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride Platform. This integration allows the B10 to offer Highway and Urban Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) and supports the execution of end-to-end large models. With the Snapdragon Ride Platform, the B10’s intelligent driving system can analyze high-definition maps and complex road conditions in real time, achieve deep fusion of multi-sensor data, and continuously evolve to adapt to increasingly challenging road environments.

Leapmotor LEAP Pilot Intelligent Driver Assistance System

The B10 features the LEAP Pilot Intelligent Driver Assistance System. The top-spec variant has 12 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and one lidar. The base variant has 6 cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars and features 17 ADAS functions:
