What does "non-commercial use" mean?
This license grants free access to QNX Software Development Platform 8.0 for individual non-commercial users. You can use it for educational purposes, personal projects, or any other activities that do not involve generating revenue or conducting business operations.
Non-commercial use includes academic environments, hobbyists, and those interested in learning about real-time operating systems. It does not cover evaluation or development for commercial purposes.

I registered for a new myQNX account. Something went wrong. I can’t log in. How can I get help?

Where is the product license I requested?
You can view licenses and accept them via myQNX License Manager. Before you begin using the QNX Software Center, visit your myQNX account profile to view the products that have been deployed to you. The profile includes a Registered Products section, which shows at a glance the license key, serial number, license certificate, and license administrators for each deployed product.
Instructions on license management, allocation, and deployment are provided in the myQNX License Manager and QNX Software Center User's Guide. If the license does not exist in your myQNX License Manager, please contact us at myqnx@blackberry.com.
When I try to download QNX Software Center, it says that I need to “Register” and asks for a Product Serial Number and Password. Where can I find this information?
In order to download QNX Software Center, you (myQNX user) need to have a QNX product license assigned. Instructions on license management, allocation, deployment are provided in the myQNX License Manager and QNX Software Center User's Guide.

What resources are available to help me get started?
QNX offers a host of excellent documentation and demo projects to get you started. Read the QNX SDP 8.0 Quick Start Guide to learn about developing for QNX. When you’re ready to try it for yourself, take your Raspberry Pi 4 and flash our ready-made QNX SDP 8.0 image for the Raspberry Pi. It includes an assortment of open-source demo applications to try. Clone, modify, and rebuild them to kick-start your development.
How can I connect with other software engineers and developers?
Visit and participate in our set of open-source repositories in Gitlab. In the Wiki and Issues section for any repo, you can contribute to the conversation. There are also many online communities dedicated to discussing QNX and QNX development. In the future, we will be creating forums to make feedback collection and idea sharing even easier. Stay tuned for more updates.
